BioDiT Citrus: Exhibit 21: Invasive Species

EXHIBIT 21

While it is normal for organisms to move between environments on their own, humans have the capacity to move organisms great distances.  In some cases, we can move organisms that can radically transform non-native environments.  While it may be tempting to view the threat posed by these invasive species as exaggerated or irrelevant, many of them truly can alter ecosystems in ways that produce economic harm to humans.  Once open, this exhibit will introduce you to invasive species that impact Citrus County.
