We are also known as a media center, information hub, reading room, book room, bookery, or Learning Resources Center (LRC).

  • Enrollment or employment at CF covers library access at all CF campuses (ex. students taking Ocala classes may also use Citrus campus services)

  • Your CF  ID  card doubles as the college library card at all CF campuses

  • Librarians are guides to knowledge, research skills, and more. Library staff may provide help with locating material, library equipment,  directional help, using items, and more.

  • Borrow helpful items about any subject! Everything from your coursework to your interests.
  • Choices! Patrons may explore the library, or ask for assistance in locating material.
  • Online / Virtual-learning / Zoom-friendly!

Enrollment or employment at CF covers library use at all CF campuses. All current CF students are welcome to visit the library and enjoy our services.

We serve all current CF students, including:

  • students taking classes at Ocala, Levy, Citrus, and other CF campuses
  • online, virtual, or distance learning CF students
  • dual-enrollment students taking CF classes

Mission: To provide resources and services to meet the informational, learning, and developmental needs of College of Central Florida students, faculty, and broader community.

Library facilities at the Citrus Campus Learning Resources Center are located in Building C2, Room 202 and include 6,864 square feet, more than 9000 physical volumes and 900 audiovisual resources. Seating is available to 130 students with tables, study areas, a reading area. Two Collaborative, group presentation/study rooms, nineteen computer workstations are available, and a computer lab that seats 30 opened fall 2010. The Innovation Center opened in July 2021, and seats 16.

About Dorothea G. Jerome

About Dorothea G. Jerome

Dorothea G. Jerome understood the value of an education. She attained a teaching degree and taught K-8 before moving to Florida in the 1940s. Later in life, she gave back to the educational community. She generously gave to the College of Central Florida Foundation. Her donations allowed the college to establish 7 endowed chairs devoted to Arts, Sciences and libraries at the Citrus and Ocala campuses.

At CF Citrus Campus, building 2 is named in honor of Dorothea G. Jerome.
