3D printed stars

3D printed stars - see the inside of a star!

The inside of a 3D object can contain thatching. Thatching is a type of pattern that is inside a 3D print. It may make a print more durable. A 3D print can contain 0% thatching, some thatching, or be 100% solid. The amount of thatching in a 3D print can extend the time needed to print an object.

The average amount of thatching used in a standard 3D print is 15%.
