Interlibrary Loan, and UBorrow are services that borrow materials from other libraries, and deliver them to library users who submit an ILL request form.
Interlibrary loan has access to thousands of libraries across the country. UBorrow is a similar service that requests materials directly from participating libraries within Florida’s state university, and college system.
Requesting Materials Through UBorrow in the Library Catalog
Start by going to the CF Library catalog, and sign-in; this is necessary so you can view the available borrowing options under the How to get it section within the items' details page.
Enter you terms in the CF Library catalog search box, and select the “Statewide Catalog” filter from the filters that appear as you type.
Once on the results page, items available via UBorrrow will have the following phrase: "Check for available services" under the title. Click the title to access the UBorrow Request within the How to get it section.
Carefully complete the UBorrow Request form.
Once you hit Send, you will get a green message indicating your request was successfully placed.
