The main circulating collection is the largest collection of books in the library. These books may be borrowed by current CF students, faculty, staff, and community borrowers. The books are fiction and nonfiction.
All collections at CF Library locations are organized by the Library of Congress classification system. Each print collection also has a color label for ease of finding.

Smaller special collections are dedicated to particular materials, subjects, etc. including:
- Audio-Visual (AV) Media consists of movies, films, documentaries, videos, and study help including aids, walkthroughs, informational, etc.
- Course Reserves: includes selected textbooks, A&P models, citation guides, etc. available for students to borrow for use in library.
- Label: Yellow with red Reserves lettering.
- eBooks consists of material available on the library databases.
- Florida Author Collection consists of material written or illustrated by authors currently living in or who have lived in Florida.
- Innovation Center consists of a variety of equipment and tools to assist our students in the "creation of knowledge". The collection includes books on various current technologies and materials, crafting, and gaming.
- Reference: consists of nonfiction items such as encyclopedia sets, statistical information, etc.
- Streaming Videos consists of online material available on the library databases.
"In Memory Of" Collections:
The following collections began as personal material donated by the named person.
- David E. Walker Environment Collection consists of material related to Florida's environment, birding, national parks, and related information. Additional, updated material added by the library as needed.
