Course Reserves: Students & Faculty

Summer classes begin Wednesday, May 14, 2025

The College of Central Florida Library offers access to print course reserve materials via the circulation desk located on the Learning Resource Center’s second floor. The library also offers course reserve materials digitally via Electronic Reserves (E-Reserves).

This guide provides information on the following:

- Print Course Reserves (in-house use)

- Electronic Course Reserves (E-Reserves) including:

• A list of courses offering E-Reserve content available Summer 2025
• How to access E-Reserve content 
• How to place an item on E-Reserve

Course Reserves: In-house Use

• Course reserve materials are located at the Circulation Desk on the second floor of the Stearns Learning Resource Center (Bldg 3). 

• Most course reserve materials are available for in-house use only (use in library only) and can be checked out in two hour increments.

• Your CF ID card is required to check out course reserve materials.

Electronic Course Reserves (E-Reserves): Online

To request access to E-Reserve materials, please send an email with the following information to library@cf.edu  

• Your name and College of Central Florida student identification number

• Course name and number 

• Please submit request during business hours. Requests received after hours will be processed the following business day.
• Loan period for E-Reserve materials: four hours

Summer 2025:  Effective Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Ocala campus library remote services are available during the following business hours: 

• Monday - Thursday      7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Friday                           CLOSED 
• Saturday                      CLOSED 
• Sunday                        CLOSED 

To place an item on electronic reserve:

• Complete the Library Course Reserve Form.                                                                                                                  

• In the "Item Title(s)" field please include the pages / chapters to be digitized

Please place requests as early as possible to give Library staff sufficient time to process requests. We will make every attempt to provide digital access to materials. If for any reason we are not able to process a request, we will contact you to find a solution.
