About the Audio Visual Media Collection

The Library's Audio-Visual, or AV, collection has various materials. Current CF students, faculty, and staff, may borrow material for onsite and offsite use. Alumni, community borrowers, and retirees may borrow equipment for use onsite.

Items include:

  • Videos including movies, tutorials, study guides, how to's, and documentaries (dvd/bluray format)
    • Streaming videos are available to current CF students, faculty, staff
  • Laptops (flipbook/chromebook format)
  • Mice (wired)
  • Webcams
  • Headsets (audio)
  • Noise-cancelling headsets
  • Calculators

Borrowing information:

  • Videos: borrow up to 5 items for 7 days
  • Mice (wired): borrow 1 mouse for up to 14 days
  • Webcams: borrow 1 webcam for up to 14 days
  • Headphones and noise-cancelling headsets: Borrow for use in library or tutoring (may be paired with laptop when used onsite).
  • Calculators: Borrow for use anywhere on campus. Item needs to be returned on the same day they were borrowed, before the library closes.

About Videos

Videos are available in DVD, bluray, or streaming format.

Bluray and DVDs are housed at CF Citrus Campus Library. Streaming videos may be viewed through the Library Databases. Physical and streaming videos are available to current CF students, faculty, staff.

Headsets (About)

CF Citrus Campus Library's AV collection has assorted headsets.

Headsets are available in two varieties:

  • Standard headset used for listening to audio materials
  • Noise-cancelling headset used for noise reduction

Current CF students, faculty, and staff may borrow them for onsite use in library, tutoring, or testing.

Headsets may be used with equipment that has a headset port including computers, laptops, phones, tablets, etc..

Headsets are due back on the same day they were borrowed, before the library closes.
