Study Rooms

Study room reservations
are made on the reservation sheets posted on the study room windows. Reservations must be made in person.

Four hours per day is the maximum length of time any group can reserve a room.

Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis. However, groups have priority.

Study rooms can only be reserved by groups of two or more people. Individuals are allowed to use unoccupied study rooms, with the understanding that s/he may be asked to relocate if a group needs the room.

Reservations are recommended, and those who have reserved a room have priority over those who have not. To reserve a room, sign up on the sheet on the study room windows. These rooms are very popular, particularly between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, and during mid-terms and finals weeks, so reserving in advance is recommended.

Reservations will be forfeited if at least two members of the group are not present within 15 minutes of the start time.

Personal items (purses, wallets, phones, laptops, textbooks, book bags, etc.) should not be left unattended.

Fast food and carry-out food are not allowed in the study rooms or anywhere else in the Library.

Study and other rooms in the Library can only be reserved by CF students, faculty, and staff. CF students, faculty, and staff have priority use of these rooms.

If you have any questions, or would like to borrow dry erase markers and erasers for the white boards, please ask a Librarian at the Reference Desk.
